1. Solderability
ASTM A213 UNS S30400 tube has excellent weldability and machinability, and can be subjected to various machining and precision manufacturing as required. The maximum carbon content of 304L is 0.035%, which inhibits the precipitation of carbides and has good welding performance. It can be welded by ordinary methods. For manual arc welding, austenitic 002 electrode can be used for 304 stainless steel with thin section size, which will not produce intergranular corrosion tendency.
2. Heat treatment process
DIN 1.4301 tube solution treatment temperature is 1080-1100 ℃, water cooling or air cooling. The annealing temperature in the middle of cold working is 850-970 ℃, and water cooling after a certain period of time. Solution-treated austenitic steel structure, sometimes with a small amount of ferrite.
3. Cold forming performance
The cold forming performance of SA 213 TP 304l tube is an important technical index to measure whether the forming is smooth and the yield. The factors affecting the cold forming of 304 stainless steel are more complicated. As far as its metallographic factors are concerned, it is mainly the composition of steel, that is, the ratio of chromium equivalent to nickel equivalent, and the elongation of conventional tensile properties is an important characterization index. In order to obtain good cold forming properties, it is necessary to control the ratio of chromium equivalent to nickel equivalent in steel within an appropriate range.
